No reviews yet — and we are not about to fake one

This space is held for real, verified Google reviews written by guests we have actually chauffeured to the Falls. It sits at zero on purpose: we would far rather show you an honest blank slate than a single star we did not earn. Sail the Voyage with us, then tell the next traveller exactly how the day went.

  • Verified Google reviews only Every word that appears here will link straight to our live Google listing. We cannot post one you did not write — and we never would.
  • Zero borrowed stars No stock testimonials, no invented names, no rented ratings. The counter only moves the day a real guest steps back onto the dock.
  • The whole day, judged fairly The GTA pickup, the drive down the QEW, the wait at the gate while you sail, the soak at the Horseshoe — score all of it, honestly.

Be the first to review a day at the Falls with us.

Transport only, Canadian side — we drive door-to-door and wait while you sail. You buy your own boat ticket at the gate (Niagara City Cruises, ~CA$48 + HST, no passport). From CA$580 per vehicle, all-in.

Do you actually get wet on the Niagara boat cruise?

Yes — and getting wet is the whole point. Niagara City Cruises sails straight into the mist cloud thrown up by the Horseshoe Falls, so a cool, drifting spray sweeps the deck and the closer you push to the rail the more you feel it. You’re handed a recyclable rain poncho at boarding, but on a breezy day expect your hair, shoes and phone to pick up a proper soaking. Wear layers you don’t mind getting damp, tuck your camera away, and treat the spray as the best part rather than something to dodge. Your chauffeur stays warm and dry up top, ready with the vehicle the moment you step back onto the dock.

What’s the difference between the Maid of the Mist and Niagara City Cruises?

They’re the same soaked-at-the-Horseshoe ride, run by two operators from two countries’ shores. The Maid of the Mist boards on the American side in New York State; Niagara City Cruises is its Canadian-side counterpart, launching from beneath the Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Because we’re a Canadian-side service that never crosses the border, the boat our guests ride is Niagara City Cruises — no passport, no customs line, the same thunder and spray at the brink of the Horseshoe. If you’ve pictured a packed boat in blue ponchos nosing into the mist, that’s exactly the voyage, just sailing from the Canadian shore.

Do we need to buy the boat ticket ourselves?

Yes. We’re a transport service — we drive you door-to-door and wait — so the Niagara City Cruises ticket is bought by you, directly at the gate. The Voyage to the Falls sail runs about CA$48 plus HST per person for roughly 20 minutes on the water, and we never mark it up, bundle it, or sell it for you. Your chauffeur sets you down steps from the boarding gate, holds the vehicle close by, and is waiting the moment you come back up — so you buy tickets on the day and can skip the cruise entirely if the queue or the weather isn’t playing along.

Do you go to the US side, or the Canadian side?

The Canadian side, every single time — we never cross the border or drive into the United States. The Canadian shore hands you the wide, head-on view of the Horseshoe Falls, Table Rock right at the crest, the Niagara Parkway and Niagara City Cruises, all with no passport, no customs queue and no risk of a bridge backup eating your afternoon. The Maid of the Mist launches from the U.S. side, so we don’t use it; our guests ride its Canadian twin instead and get just as close to the same wall of falling water.

What time are the Niagara Falls fireworks?

The fireworks light up the sky above the gorge at around 10 p.m. They’re a free public show staged over the Falls — not a ticketed event and nothing we sell — running most nights through the warm season, roughly mid-May to mid-October, with extra displays on headline dates like Canada Day and New Year’s Eve. Ask your chauffeur to shape the day so you’re standing along the glowing Parkway as they begin; with a flat six-hour base per vehicle, an evening finish is easy to plan for. Exact dates shift year to year, so check the official Niagara Parks calendar before you lock in yours.

Are the fireworks and the falls illumination free?

Completely free. The fireworks over the gorge are a free public display, and the coloured lights that wash across the Horseshoe and American Falls glow free every single night of the year, long after the fireworks season has wrapped. There’s no booth and no ticket to watch either one — you simply stand along the Parkway or the Table Rock promenade and look up. It’s the reason they pair so beautifully with a private car: you pay only for the vehicle and chauffeur, and the two finest sights at Niagara after dark cost nothing at all.

Are the fireworks worth staying for, and what if it rains?

For most guests, absolutely — watching the Falls glow in colour and then burst into fireworks over the water is the moment the whole day has been building toward, and a warm car waiting nearby means no scramble for parking or a late ride home. If heavy rain or high wind moves in, Niagara Parks may push the fireworks to another night and the boat cruise can pause in a storm, but the free nightly illumination carries on regardless. Since there’s no charge to reserve and cancellation is free, you can hold your date with confidence and let your chauffeur reshape the evening around the sky on the day.

Still just the car — never the tickets

We’re transport-only: we drive door-to-door and wait while you ride and watch, and you buy your own cruise ticket at the gate. Reserve free, cancel free.
